You could watch a subject on YouTube and it’s no different than going to college. With all the information that’s available on Social Media and the Internet, you really have to go out of your way to remain an ignoramus. In a few days, I learned how to use most of the features on Google Slides, which I never used before because I used Microsoft Office for years. For me, Google Docs has turned out to be better since it crosses platforms and saves documents automatically. I can write on my phone, which I tend to do often, and the text I’m entering or editing goes right to the Google Docs piece on my computer and changes it automatically. How did I live without this feature for so long? Now I’m brushing up on Social Media Marketing. I understand it fairly well but there’s always more to learn. Younger people have their finger on the pulse of current trends, which I don’t have. Why not learn from them? Parts of my body may be falling apart, but so far I think my brain has remained intact.
